Plain and simply, Troy is just a delight. He is prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and most importantly, very knowledgeable. We have used him over the years for basic uplighting in our garden to having to replace our entire electrical panel in an emergency. Troy (owner of Intravolt) has been so helpful. Everything from setting up outdoor lighting to a back up system for black outs to a complicated decorative light in the bathroom. He also has been fair in regards to pricing. I would and have recommended him.
"My in-laws stay at my condo in Chatsworth and told me they were having issues with some outlets and light fixtures in part of the house. After calling around to more than a handful of electricians early on a Thursday, 2 didn’t answer, one’s voicemail instructed me to leave a message to get a text back with a different number to call, 2 wouldn’t be able to check it out until next week, 1 said he would check the schedule later in the afternoon to see what they could do, and lastly Troy - he said he could try after he picked up his kids from school if that was OK with me. Obviously I wanted this fixed as soon as possible and I took his offer. He didn’t charge me a service call fee (some of the others said they charged one, some didn’t) and said if he had to fix anything thats when the clock would start and asked if I wanted it done on the spot if it was something he could fix. Troy advised me it was something LADWP needed to look at ASAP. He instructed me to call their emergency services department and told me what to tell them and he even followed up the next day to make sure i got the help I needed. All this customer service at no charge. He also brought to my attention some recalled electric panels needed to be replaced in my garage as it is a fire hazard. His prices seem on the higher side, but his attention to detail and care for a situation is much appreciated. I would not hesitate to call for service again in the future if I need it. The issue ended up having to be handled by HOA, but the help I got from Troy, I would have gladly paid for."
